Injection Pressure Operated Gas Lift Valve TP 1.0 & TP 1.5

The tubing retrievable injection pressure operated gas lift
valve is primarily controlled by injection gas pressure. The
valves are installed on a outside mount tubing retrievable
mandrel and used to control injection gas pressure and its
flow from either the annulus or tubing based on the type of
mandrel.

The valve is designed with a sealed chamber and 3 ply
bellows that contains a nitrogen charge, which provides the
closing force of the valve. When injection gas pressure
exceeds the closing force, the bellows compresses, lifting
the ball stem off of the seat and allowing gas to be injected
through the valve into the producing area.

For continuous flow or intermittent gas lift, tubing of annular flow applications.

• Valves manufactured according to API 19G2
• Stainless steel or premium materials available.
• Three ply Nickel-copper alloy bellows.
• Mechanical stop prevents bellows over stroke.
• Bellows dampening fluid to prevent fatigue and stem-seat pounding.
• Tungsten carbide ball
• Replaceable floating seat (Tungsten Carbide available)
• Pressure rating up to 1,800 psi (124 bars) test rack opening pressure.
• Temperature rating of 250° F (121°C) (Standard Service)
• Optional reverse flow check valve (JM-C and JM20-C)

Injection Pressure Operated Valves WP 1.0 & WP 1.5

The wireline retrievable Injection pressure operated gas
lift valves are primarily controlled by injection gas
pressure. The valves are installed in a side pocket
mandrel and used to control injection gas pressure and
its flow from either the annulus or tubing based on the
porting of the mandrel.

The valve is designed with a sealed chamber and 3 ply
bellows that contains a nitrogen charge, which provides
the closing force of the valve. When injection gas
pressure exceeds the closing force, the bellows
compresses, lifting the ball stem off of the seat and

• Tungsten carbide ball
• Replaceable floating seat (Tungsten Carbide available)
• Integral reverse flow check valve to prevent casing to tubing flow.
• Pressure rating up to 1,800 psi (124 bars) test rack opening pressure.
• Integral reverse flow check valve with resilient and metal to metal seals.
• Temperature rating of 250° F (121°C) (Standard Service)
• Standard Neoprene packing with other materials available.

Gas Lift Latch

Gas lift latches are designed to lock a flow control device in the
appropriate side pocket mandrel profile. To retrieve the latch and
attached flow control device, upward jarring of the tool string
shears the release shear pin permitting the locking mechanism to
disengage from the latching side pocket profile.
180° locking device utilizing a spring loaded ring style latching
mechanism.

• BK-2 latch for 1” (25.4 mm) OD flow control device.
• RK latch for 11/2” (38.1 mm) OD flow control device.

This latch has O-rings to prevent debris from entering the pocket
of the mandrel 360° locking device utilizing a spring loaded rotating
cam latching mechanism.

• RA latch for 11/2” (38.1 mm) OD flow control device.

This latch has O-rings to prevent debris from entering the
pocket of the mandrel. (Old MMA Type Series)

Dummy Gas Lift Valve

The WD series wireline retrievable dummy valves are installed in side pocket mandrels to isolate communication between casing and tubing.

The WD series dummy valve is available in stainless steel or premium materials for corrosion resistance in corrosive environments. Packing for the valve is available for standard service or special service to suit individual well conditions.
